The ‘Home Academy’ is working to improve skills on Facebook and Instagram in the stagnant situations due to Corona outbreak. The platform was created by a 17-year-old entrepreneur Taha Masood. 400 young people have already taken training from there. 300 of them have started earning at home.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak has promised to transform the Home Academy platform into an app to speed up the initiative. The minister said these two apps would be developed under the ICT Department’s Innovation and Entrepreneur Development Academy Establishment Project to make the service available on Android and iOS platforms as well.
Junaid Ahmed Palak made the announcement online on Monday after learning about such a secluded initiative from his son.
Inspired by the motto ‘Leadership not for elections but for the next generation’, the Minister said, we are making every effort to help the youth to come up with innovative solutions keeping this objective in our minds.
