The National Science and Technology Museum announced the results of the online painting and composition competition on Facebook Live on Tuesday. Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director-general of NSTM has called for the winners to send their home addresses, expressing their intention to send the prizes using drones as it might be risky to hand over the awards directly in ongoing pandemic situations.
But the prize can also be collected from the Museum if there is a fear of losing the award, He mentioned.
The competition was held on February 23 and 25 on the occasion of the National Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day.
Mrs Maksuda Begum, Chief Display Officer, Safia Tasnim Draghima, and Arafat Ali, Gallery Display officer of NSTM including Museum Senior Curator Lutfar Rahman Siddique and Technology Expert Hannan were the judges in the competition.
