The ‘Challengers Summit 2025’, a day-long event organized by Walton Plaza, was held at the Walton Hi-Tech Park in Chandra, Gazipur, with the motto “We were the best, we are the best, and we will remain the best.” The summit brought together over a thousand Walton Plaza officials from across the country to reaffirm their commitment to excellence in sales growth, social and humanitarian activities, and exceptional customer service.
Speakers at the summit emphasized that Walton Plaza leads the market in the sales of electronics, electrical, and technological products. This achievement has earned the organization national recognition as the top taxpayer and VAT contributor. Additionally, Walton Plaza is actively involved in corporate social responsibility initiatives, including socio-economic development, health protection, job creation, and skill development. Under its ‘Installment Buyers and Family Protection Policy,’ Walton Plaza has provided financial assistance to hundreds of installment buyers and their families, solidifying its reputation as a leading sales network.
On Tuesday, January 14, the event began with the ceremonial release of balloons, marking the inauguration of the summit. SM Shamsul Alam, Chairman of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, SM Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director, Nishat Tasnim Shuchi, CEO of Walton Micro-Tech Corporation, and Mohammad Raihan, Managing Director of Walton Plaza, were present alongside other senior officials. The event was hosted by popular actor and Walton’s Senior Executive Director, Amin Khan.
The summit was attended by over a thousand officials, including managers, regional sales managers, and credit managers from approximately 700 Walton Plazas across the country, creating a festive atmosphere at the Walton Hi-Tech Park. The leadership provided valuable strategic guidance to enhance the continuity of Walton Plaza’s sales growth and accelerate its business operations.
In recognition of their contributions to sales growth in 2023, 190 Walton Plaza officials were awarded in 19 categories. The awards, including crests and certificates of honor, were presented by Walton Plaza Managing Director Mohammad Raihan.
Prominent attendees included Nazrul Islam Sarkar and Md. Yusuf Ali, Additional Managing Directors of Walton Hi-Tech Industries, Liaqat Ali, Additional Managing Director of Walton Digi-Tech Industries, and Mofizur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech.
