On Wednesday (January 8), Information and Broadcasting Advisor Md. Nahid Islam visited the Bangladesh Film Archive. During the visit, he toured various facilities, including the projection hall, multipurpose hall, digital lab, film museum, film checking room, film vault, and library.
The Director General of the Bangladesh Film Archive, Md. Kamruzzaman, Project Director Yakub Ali, Director Farhana Rahman, Director Muhammad Arif Sadeq, along with other officials and staff members of the archive were present during the visit.
Following the visit, the advisor remarked, “The Bangladesh Film Archive plays a vital role in preserving information and documentaries related to the country’s history, heritage, and culture.” He urged the archive’s officials to work towards enhancing the institution’s capabilities.
