Leading fintech company bKash has onboarded over 700,000 members from six additional microfinance institutions (MFIs), enabling them to deposit savings and loan installments directly through the bKash app. The newly partnered organizations include:
- Peoples’ Oriented Program Implementation (POPI)
- Society for Development Initiatives (SDI)
- Grameen Jano Unnayan Sangstha (GJUS)
- Integrated Development Foundation (IDF)
- Nabolok Parishad
- Modern Development Organization (MDO)
With this collaboration, bKash now supports savings and loan transactions for approximately 1.5 crore members from 25 MFIs in total.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, bKash recently signed individual agreements with the executives of these organizations at a hotel in the capital. bKash’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ali Ahmmed, led the signing ceremonies.
The event was attended by notable representatives, including:
- Md. Mosihur Rahman, Director-EES, POPI
- Samsul Haque, Executive Director, SDI
- Zakir Hossain Mohin, Executive Director, GJUS
- Zahurul Alam, Executive Director, IDF
- Md. Altaf Hossain, Deputy Executive Director (Finance & Loan), Nabolok Parishad
- Md. Masud Ahmed Rokony, Executive Director, MDO
- M. Manjur Mahmud, President, Datasoft
Other senior officials from the respective organizations were also present at the signing event.
