At BRAC University’s Engineering and Computer Science Career Fair, Smart Build, a leading sustainable infrastructure consulting firm, unveiled its mission titled “Disrupting with Six,” aimed at identifying aspiring engineers. Under this program, one successful intern will receive a six-figure monetary award, while five others will each be awarded a state-of-the-art smart laptop. The initiative also seeks to equip recent graduates with the skills to build sustainable infrastructure using environmentally friendly technologies.
Applications for the program are open until December 31, with the selection process concluding on February 1, when a team of six participants will be chosen.
Speaking about the program, Smart Build’s Head of Innovation and Growth, Md. Sahab Uddin Riyad, stated, “This program is not just about building careers but about creating a sustainable future. It is designed to engage young talents in solving infrastructure and urbanization challenges through real-world projects.”
The initiative is open to recent graduates from Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering disciplines. Candidates will be evaluated based on their creativity, sustainable thinking, leadership potential, and alignment with Smart Build’s vision for smart and climate-conscious development.
