The recent Daraz 11.11 shopping festival has marked a notable shift in online shopping trends in Bangladesh. Unlike previous years, where electronics and fashion dominated sales, everyday essentials like detergents, body wash, and sanitary napkins topped the list of bestselling products. Other popular items included phone covers, caps, socks, children’s watches, and mobile accessories.
Highlights of the Campaign:
- Customer Preferences: Personal care and daily essentials surpassed traditional favorites, with grooming products, audio devices, and skincare items also in high demand.
- Payment Trends: Over one-third of the payments were made through mobile financial services (MFS).
- Delivery Feat: Daraz accomplished its longest delivery, covering 582 kilometers from Chattogram to Dinajpur.
Offers and Sales Data:
Running from November 11 to November 21, the event featured:
- BDT 50 crore worth of vouchers,
