A seminar on cyberbullying awareness was held on Thursday, November 21, at the Fatema Matin Women’s College hall room in Char Fasson, Bhola. The event aimed to educate students about the dangers of cyberbullying and was organized by Bashundhara Shuvosangho.
The session was moderated by Kamrul Sikder, the Charfassion correspondent for Daily Kaler Kantho, and presided over by Mahiyuddin Bacchu, acting principal of the college and advisor to the local Shuvosangho chapter. Former chairman of the Jinnagor Union Parishad, Kazi Manzoor Hossain, addressed the gathering as the chief guest.
Special remarks were delivered by the president of the Shuvosangho Charfassion chapter, M. Amir Hossain; Sub-Inspector Naeem from Charfassion Police Station; and college teacher Nurul Huda Rumi.
Other notable attendees included Shuvosangho advisor M. Abu Siddique, Shuvosangho office secretary and journalist Shafi Ullah Shafi, organizational secretary Nahidul Islam Naeem, and faculty members Faruk Rana, Akhtar Hossain, Farhana Afroz, Mostafizur Rahman, Mukbul Ahmed, Rajib Majumder, Peter, Shafiqul Islam, and Asma Begum Tania.
The seminar emphasized the importance of recognizing and addressing the threats posed by cyberbullying, equipping students with the knowledge to navigate the digital world responsibly.
