Publicly listed IT distributor Global Brand has introduced Lexar’s fifth-generation solid-state drive (SSD) with a built-in heat sink in the Bangladeshi market. The NM1090 model features a 1TB storage capacity with a remarkable read speed of 11,500 MB/s and a write speed of 9,000 MB/s, offering double the performance of its predecessor, according to the distributor.
To prevent overheating, the SSD is equipped with a unique heat sink featuring a heat-blasting fan and RGB lighting. The DRAM-based SSD includes SLC dynamic cache features, enhancing performance and reducing latency. It also supports Microsoft DirectStorage, significantly accelerating game loading times and handling heavy workloads efficiently.
The NM1090 SSD is compatible with modern computing systems, including Intel 13th and 14th Gen processors and AMD’s 7000 series CPUs. Additionally, it comes with the Lexar DiskMaster software for drive health monitoring, optimization for long-term performance, and robust data security.
The launch is set to appeal to gamers and professionals seeking high-performance storage solutions in Bangladesh.
