Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf, the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh, paid tribute to the heroic martyrs of the Liberation War at the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar. The tribute was observed on Monday, October 28, at 11 a.m., with a floral wreath and a moment of silence.
Accompanying him were university officials, including the esteemed Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Registrar Muhammad Ataur Rahman Khan, and department heads such as Suman Saha (IoT and Robotics Engineering), Rakib Hossain (Acting Chair of Cyber Security Engineering), Md. Mashiur Rahman (Acting Chair of Software Engineering), Tanzim Taharat Orpa (Acting Chair of Data Science and Engineering), and Sujan Chandra Sutradhar (Acting Chair of General Education). Additional dignitaries present included Munira Akhtar Lata (Provost of the Women’s Hall), Proctor Farzana Akhtar, Director of Student Welfare Farhana Islam, along with other faculty, staff, and administrative personnel of the university.
