‘One-Stop Service’ Introduced to Ease the Process
Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) has introduced ‘One-Stop Service’ to streamline the final admission process for undergraduate first-year students, minimizing the inconvenience typically faced during admission. The final admission process will take place on October 6, 8, and 9, with an orientation program scheduled for October 23.
The decision was made during a meeting of the central admission committee on Tuesday afternoon, held at the conference room of the university’s administrative building. The meeting was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of JUST and Chairman of the Admission Committee, Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Majid.
It was announced during the meeting that the final admission process for students who have completed the initial admission phase will be conducted on Sunday, October 6, Tuesday, October 8, and Wednesday, October 9. Typically, students are required to visit various offices, including the Dean’s Office, Bank, Medical Center, affiliated Residential Halls, and the Registrar’s Office, which are located in different buildings. To prevent students from facing any inconvenience, all admission-related activities will now be conducted in a single room under the ‘One-Stop Service’ system.
Representatives from Agrani Bank, student and female student halls, the Medical Center, and the Registrar’s Office will be present in the designated gallery to assist with the admission process. Students will collect signatures on their admission forms from the Dean’s Office and complete the remaining procedures in the same gallery.
Furthermore, it has been decided that the orientation program for students admitted in the 2023-24 academic year will be held on Wednesday, October 23.
