Officials and employees of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division and different offices under the division have donated a total of Tk29 lakh 64 thousand to support the flood-hit people.
On Thursday, on behalf of the ICTD, six cheques were handed over to the Advisor Md. Nahid Islam, , said a press release.
In view of the interest of the officers and employees of the Information and Communication Technology Division on August 24, a decision was taken to donate one day’s salary to the flood victims. Today, the ICTD and its subordinate agencies have deposited the cheques.
On August 25, on behalf of the officers and employees of the ICTD and its subordinate agencies, the officials of the concerned Division submitted a cheque of Tk 1 crore 16 lakh 81 thousand 653 to Advisor Md. Nahid Islam.
