In support of the people affected by the terrible flood, the officials and employees of the Posts and Telecommunications Division and its subordinate agencies have submitted a check of Tk 1,16,81,653 for one day’s salary.
On Sunday, from the Posts and Telecommunications Division, the employees handed over twelve checks to Md. Nahid Islam in this regard.
In view of the interest of the officials and employees of the Posts and Telecommunications Division, a decision was taken on August 24 to provide one day’s salary to the flood victims. Today, the Division and its subordinate agencies have deposited the cheques. Meanwhile, BTRC submitted one day’s salary to the ministry on Saturday.
