Mobile financial services company Nagad has launched a special account on the instructions of the government to support the victims of the severe flood affected areas across the country to pay the money to the government’s relief fund. Through this launched merchant account (01886969859) one can donate as much as one wants to the relief fund of the government.
In view of the guidance of the Advisor to the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Md. Nahid Islam, this merchant account was launched by Bangladesh Postal Department’s digital financial services, Nagad. This relief collection initiative was taken through Nagad as a service of Bangladesh Postal Department. Donations can be made to this account from any Nagad account without incurring any charges.
Donations are easily made using Nagad app. Also, by dialing *167# the doners can easily deposit their donation to this number. The money deposited will be deposited directly into the government fund.
Meanwhile, more than fifty charitable organizations including As-Sunnah Foundation, Mastul, Sajida Foundation, Ovijatri are also collecting donations for the flood victims through Nagad.
