They have no plans to form a political party at the moment. But the abolition of the fascist system and the new political settlement was part of our one-point demand. That requires a lot of work and political action.
On Friday (August 16), the adviser of the Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology and Information and Broadcasting of the Interim Government and coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement Md. Nahid Islam posted so on his Facebook ID.

Coordinator Nahid wrote in Facebook status, we want to formulate the outline of future Bangladesh through discussion and dialogue with the people. At the moment we have no plans to form a political party. The students will act as a socio-political force to preserve the spirit of the revolution and the government will work towards restructuring the state according to the aspirations of the people.
Nahid also writes, the formation of political parties is not the direction of our mass coup. At this moment, it is necessary to stand by the families of the injured and martyrs in the movement, to maintain the spirit of the coup and the national unity. The students and the interim government will work towards that goal.
He also writes, the abolition of the fascist system and the new political settlement was part of our one-point demand. That requires a lot of work and political action.
