Fast-growing mobile financial services provider Upay a has recently partnered with SR Parcel to ensure automatic toll payment facility using electronic payments at various toll plazas across the country. This partnership will play an important role in strengthening the digital payment ecosystem in the country.
Under this agreement, all SR Parcel Service vehicles will be able to pay toll automatically and seamlessly at toll plazas on certain national highways and bridges across the country.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of senior officials of both the companies. It was signed by ATM Tahmiduzzaman, Member of the Board of Directors of Upay and Asif Rabbani, Managing Director of SR Parcel Services Limited.
SR Parcel vehicles will now be able to accept electronic toll payment facility at Bhanga Toll Plaza, Dhaleswari Toll Plaza, Charsindur Setu Toll Plaza and Meghna & Gomoti Toll Plaza. Besides, there is an opportunity to get a discount of up to 10 percent in paying the toll fee. Upay is working to introduce digital toll payment facilities in various toll plazas of Chattogram, Sylhet and Khulna divisions very soon.
