Bangladesh Railway has been selling advance tickets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. The third day of ticket sales continues on Tuesday, June 4. Those who bought tickets online today will be able to travel on June 14.
1 crore 85 lakh attempts (hits) have been made for buying tickets from 8 am to 10 am on Tuesday. Through this, 14,000 tickets have been sold in the western region.
Manager of Kamlapur railway station Md. Masud Sarwar said that a passenger can buy a ticket at most once. Tickets of a maximum for four seats can be purchased. In this case, there is a provision to input the names of fellow passengers in the case of purchasing a maximum of these four tickets. Eid travel tickets cannot be refunded.
One time password (OTP) will be sent to the mobile number registered at the time of ticket purchase every time to prevent ticket black-marketing. In this year’s Eid trip, the total number of seats of trains leaving Dhaka every day will be 33 thousand 500.
