In the future, market monitoring will be done through the app, said Director General of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection AHM Safikuzzaman. He gave this information in the discussion meeting organized in the meeting room of the head office of the directorate on Sunday, March 31, regarding the operation of restaurant business in residential buildings.
He said that in the future market monitoring will be done through digital app after coming out of analog system monitoring activities.
The DG said, if the operation is conducted in the market in analog way, it can be seen that the operation is being conducted repeatedly in the same area. On the other hand, there are many areas where operations have not been conducted. Market monitoring will be app based so that everything comes under one rule.
Apart from this, if app-based market monitoring system is launched, consumer DG said that there will be transparency, where mobile courts are being conducted and what are the results if they are on the app, there will be no more confusion about mobile courts.
He also said that from now on there will be a collective raid on restaurants in Dhaka. Consumer Rights, Department of Food Safety, BSTI, City Corporation, District Administration will conduct joint operations instead of doing separately.
