The hanging body of a student of Pabna University of Science and Technology-PUST was recovered from her room in a mess in the city. Police recovered the body from a mess in Munsurabad residential area of Pabna city on Monday, March 25 around 12 noon.
The name of the deceased student is Sharveen Sultana. She is a 10th batch student of Tourism and Hospitality Management Department of Pabna University of Science and Technology. Sharveen Sultana is the daughter of Azizul Islam of Salda police station in Meherpur.
Confirming the matter, Proctor of the University Dr. Kamal Hossain said, we came to the spot only after receiving the news. The body was lowered by cutting the veil. We haven’t got any details yet. Details will be given later.
On the other hand, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pabna Sadar Police Station Roshan Ali said, ‘On receiving the news, the police went to the spot and recovered the body. Details will be known by investigating the incident.’
