Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina released commemorative postage stamps, opening envelopes and seals on the occasion of the 104th birthday of the architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Commemorative postage stamps, envelopes and seals were released at Ganabhaban, the official residence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday in the morning.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina laid a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu, the greatest Bengali of all time, kept in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi No. 32 as part of the state program. At that time, younger sister Sheikh Rehana accompanied the Prime Minister.
Later, various organs and cooperative organizations including Awami League paid tribute by placing wreaths on Bangabandhu’s portrait.
