SKF Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of the country’s leading pharmaceutical companies, is going to achieve a milestone by entering the global supply market of high-tech biological vials. To this end, an agreement was signed between SKF Pharmaceuticals Bangladesh and a leading multinational biotechnology company in the capital Dhaka on Thursday.
Under the agreement, SKF Pharma will export millions of hi-tech biological vial products every year to various countries around the world. At the contract signing ceremony, Simin Rahman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SKF Pharmaceuticals and Chief Executive Officer of Transcom Group said, ‘I believe that exporting biological vials is not only a milestone for SKF Pharma, but also a great initiative to serve millions of patients’.

It may be noted that since 2012, SKF has been producing biological products in its own factory and marketing them in the local market. The factory has modern technology and machinery capable of producing world class biotech products. GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards are followed in the production of these products. The company will further increase production capacity to meet the export demand.
