MoU signed between Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and ICDDR,B for disease prevention, treatment, and research.
The agreement was signed on Thursday (November 16) at the Conference Room of the university’s vice-chancellor.
BSMMU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Sharfuddin Ahmed said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University is working on treatment, education, service and research in parallel. However, the university is doing more research than in the past. The current research friendly administration has created a fair and beautiful environment for research in the university. The university is focusing on research related to disease prevention and public interest.
He also said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University has started clinical trials of many diseases as part of research. Providing opportunities for researchers to receive various types of international standard training. Providing one-on-one training to researchers on how to write research manuscripts. For this reason, we have entered into agreements with many domestic and foreign international organizations. Today’s agreement is part of that. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and the Global Health Network (TGHN) agreement with ICDDR,B will provide this university with various opportunities.
