The latest IT exhibition ‘Smart Bangladesh Tech Expo 2023 Rangpur’ is going to be held for the first time at Rangpur Zilla Parishad Community Center on June 07-09. 28 IT institutions are participating in the exhibition organized under the slogan ‘Youth and technology / Smart Rangpur’s strength / Young people will build Smart Bangladesh’. The expo has been organized by Bangladesh Computer Samity-BCS, Rangpur branch.
On the occasion of ‘Smart Bangladesh Tech Expo 2023 Rangpur’, this information was given in the press conference held at Zilla Parishad Community Center of Rangpur on Tuesday (6 June 2023). The Chairman of BCS Rangpur Branch. BCS director and central coordinator of this exhibition Mosharof Hossain Sumon read the written speech on the occasion. The press conference was presided over by the Chairman, BCS Rangpur Branch Moksedul Islam.
BCS Rangpur Branch Vice Chairman Md. Rakibul Islam, Secretary Md. Ferdous Noor, Joint Secretary Kazi Mohammad Rafi, Treasurer Md. Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui, Member Md. Junayed Hossain Azad, Md. Rashed Alamgir and the representative of Diamond Sponsor, Director of Smart Technologies BD Limited. Mujahid Al Beruni Sujan and Rangpur Branch-in-Charge Arfanuzzaman Angel of Global Brand Pvt. It was informed in the press conference that the exhibition will have 25 stalls and 6 pavilions showcasing latest technology. Attractive gifts and discounts will be available on the purchase of technology products. A raffle draw will be held on entry tickets to the fair. Attractive gifts will be given in the Raffle draw. It was also informed in the conference that free internet and Wi-Fi zone facilities will be available for the visitors at the fair. Besides, there will be innovation zone and gaming zone. These zones will have digital games for the latest discovery and entertainment. Photography and selfie contest will be a separate attraction among the visitors.
Expo central coordinator Mosharraf Hossain Sumon said that all the new inventions based on information technology world and digital lifestyle will be found here. Besides, there will be various awareness, entertainment and educational events. There will be various events, seminars and other arrangements.
The entry fee of ‘Smart Bangladesh Tech Expo 2023 Rangpur’ is Tk. 10. Entry to the expo is free for students and journalists.
It was informed in the conference that BCS president Engineer Subrata Sarkar will inaugurate the exhibition as the chief guest on June 7 at 11 am. Vice President of Bangladesh Computer Samity Md. Rashed Ali Bhuia, Director of BCS and Managing Director of Smart Technologies BD Limited Mohammad Zahirul Islam, General Manager of Global Brand Private Limited Sameer Kumar Das and Head of Sales of South Bangla Computers Md. Mizanur Rahman will be present as a special guests in the event.
Also, leaders of the executive committee of Rangpur branch of Bangladesh Computer Samity will be present. Chairman of Bangladesh Computer Samity, Rangpur Branch Committee Md. Moksedul Islam will preside over the opening ceremony.
