SpaceX owner and Tesla CEO Elon Musk plans to visit China in April. He will mainly meet China’s new Prime Minister (Premier) Li Qiang. Reuters reported this news citing two people familiar with the matter.
Exactly when Elon Musk will visit China, however, depends on getting a meeting with Li Qiang, a source said.
There was no immediate comment from Tesla or the State Council Information Office in China.
China is Tesla’s second largest market after the US. The country’s Shanghai plant is the electric car maker’s largest production facility.
