The E3 gaming conference was supposed to be held in Los Angeles from June 13 to 16 this year. However, this event has been canceled for the fourth consecutive year. It was supposed to be the first time since 2019 that there would be direct exhibitor-spectator participation. News Engadget.
Most of the big companies in the gaming industry, including Microsoft, Nintendo, Ubisoft, have already announced that they will not participate in E3 2023. This time the whole event was cancelled.
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has already begun notifying the members of the conference’s cancellation. ESA also confirmed this on Twitter.
ESA President and CEO Stanley Pierre-Louis said the pandemic has caused many companies to change their game development timelines. As a result, they are not yet ready for this event. We are canceling this event in the interest of the industry.
