Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) has started a two-day job fair under the initiative of SUST Career Club, a career-oriented organization. CVs are being collected from candidates from Wednesday morning. Applications are being accepted as per the post. Each candidate applied to more than 5-10 companies.
In the afternoon, the crowd of job seekers can be seen in the basketball field of the campus. A job notice is posted on the left side of the entrance. Registration booth is placed on right side.
Pathao, IPDC Finance, Ortholab, Pran, RFL Group, bKash, Doric, Link-3, Arla Food, Apex, Edison Real Estate, Crown Cement, Yo Tech, Navana Group, Meghna Group of Industries, Sylhet Imperial Hospital and various National & Multinational companies have participated took part in the job fair.
The organizers said that the candidates selected from these CVs submitted will be called for an interview on Thursday.
SUST Career Club president Md. Waliul Islam Sayer said that 28 companies of the country will hire for about 300 positions in various sectors. For this reason, students who have completed graduation from any department of all public and private universities of Sylhet are participating in the fair.
