Last year, TikTok and JAAGO Foundation jointly launched a campaign called ‘Sabdhane Online’. Its objective was to inform about digital safety, positive use of social media and creating positive content for the youth of Bangladesh. So far 14 workshops have been organized across the country as part of this, involving youth. TikTok user-generated content associated with the campaign has been viewed more than 668,000 times.
The event is part of the platform’s global awareness campaign on digital security during ‘Safer Internet Month’. This year, TikTok extended its partnership with JAAGO Foundation to launch the second phase of the ‘Sabdhane Online’ (Be Careful Online)’ campaign with the global theme ‘Together for a Better Internet’. As part of this initiative, the two organizations will continue their efforts to reach out to more youth across the country and educate them about digital safety.
