On the same day as the news of Google’s AI bird debut, OpenAI’s artificial intelligence (AI) technology-driven chatbot ‘ChatGPT’ was added to Microsoft Bing search engine. But initially desktop version users can use the trial version of Bing search engine by registering. Registration can be done by clicking on the chat tab above the Bing search engine. Even after registering, not all users will get access to the new version right away. Microsoft said the new version of Bing will be rolled out to all users in stages over the next few weeks. On the other hand, this facility can be used periodically in the Edge browser as well.
Satya Nadella, the Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft, announced the addition of Chatbots to the search engine at an event organized in Washington, USA on Tuesday. The guests present at the event also got an opportunity to test the trial version of the search engine.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said at the event that artificial intelligence technology will bring fundamental changes in the use of all types of software, starting from information search. Following this, artificial intelligence-based chat facility has been added to Bing search engine and Edge browser.
It was informed at the event, in addition to viewing improved search results in the new version of Bing search engine, ChatGPT’s artificial intelligence-powered chatbot can be used on the right side. As a result, the chatbot will quickly show the answers to the questions as soon as they are written. Not only that, the chatbot will write articles or e-mails on specific topics as well as summarize the content of the information on the webpage. If desired, various information will be translated from one language to another. A similar chatbot can be used in the Edge browser as well.
