The State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak is passing busy time in Saudi Arabia as he is on a state visit for 6 days in the holy land. As a part of his visit, the State Minister had a meeting with the Chairman of Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) Mohammed K. Al Faisal.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues of both countries, especially the development and growth of emerging telecommunication and information technology sectors. During this time, emphasis was placed on working together on research, development and technology innovation and knowledge sharing in these sectors. ICT State Minister informed the Chairman about the overall development and progress of ICT and Telecommunication sector of Bangladesh
The meeting held yesterday afternoon at the company’s head office in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, was attended by the chief executive officer of Saudi Telecommunication Company and senior officials of STC Company and STC Pay.
Later, the state minister presented a jute boat to the Chairman of STC.
