After Traceability, a2i started the second challenge with Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services-BASIS. A Letter Builder Challenge was launched as the sixth challenge on Thursday. In this challenge, the challenge has been taken in the digital conversion of all official and semi-official letters starting from office memos. In addition to all types of documents within the government, there are also letters used at the private level in this letter builder. It has a digital letter format library in both Bengali and English formats. This competition will continue till November 27. The competition is open to all.
Senior Secretary of Information and Communication Technology Division NM Zeaul Alam unveiled this challenge by connecting online.
In his opening speech, he suggested that the Letter Builder should be flexible and its business case also should be under consideration. He urged for the quick implementation of the Letter Builder.
While speaking as a special guest, Anir Chowdhury, the A2I policy consultant advised that this Letter Builder should be protocol, dynamic and user friendly. The program was presided over by a2i Joint Project Director Nahid Sultana Malik.
a2i technical experts Zafreen Ahmed and Naeem Ashrafi presented the process and challenges of the new challenge in the program moderated by BASIS Director Ahmedul Islam Babu.
Besides public and private officials, BASIS members and technology experts, BASIS President Russell T Ahmed was also present in the event. At the end of the program, technology experts who were connected online answered various questions regarding the Letter Builder.
