Team ‘IUT GENESIS’ formed with the students of Islamic University of Technology has won the inter-university cyber drill. The team secured 4950 points out of a total of 5500 points and secured first position in drills. Earlier this team was the second runner up in “Cisco Networking Academy National Skill Competition 2020”. Imtiaz Ahmed and Ghazzali Fahim were in this team then.
University of Asia Pacific Cyber_Space (UAP_Cyber_Space) and Islami University, Bangladesh team Big Fortress Down (Big Fortress Down) became the runners up in the inter-university cyber drill 2022 competition. Both teams scored 4800 points.
The other two teams in the top 5 with equal 4700 points are Team NUBra of Northern University; University of Information Technology and Science team UITS IT Rooters (ITS_IT_ROOTERS point).
This Inter-University Cyber Drill 2022 was organized for two days on August 23-24 as per the plan of BGD e-GOV CIRT to organize various cyber drills on a regular basis.
58 teams registered to participate in this year’s cyber drill. A total of 268 students actively participated in this team competition.
The National Computer Incident Response Team, BGD E-GOV Cert, of the ICT Department of the Government of Bangladesh was in charge of the overall organization and supervision of this cyber drill.
