In the budget for the fiscal year 2022-23, it has been proposed to allocate Tk. 2,487 crore in the Posts and Telecommunications Division.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal presented the budget proposal for the fiscal year 2022-23 in the National Assembly on Thursday afternoon in the presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
According to the proposal, the Posts and Telecommunications Division has received Tk. 555 crore more than that in the last financial year in the budget proposal.
In the last financial year, the Posts and Telecommunications Division alone was allocated Tk. 2,549 crore, which was later fixed at Tk. 1,932 crore in the revised budget.
