An agreement has been signed between the Postal Department’s Mobile Financial Services ‘Nagad’ and NRB Islamic Life Insurance Limited, one of the country’s leading life insurance companies. As a result of the agreement, the customers of NRB Islamic Life Insurance Limited will be able to pay their life insurance premiums through ‘Nagad’.
An agreement in this regard was recently signed between the two organizations at the head office of NRB Islamic Life Insurance Limited. At the time, the company’s Chief Sales Officer (CSO)Md. Shihab Uddin Chowdhury for ‘Nagad’, Head of Business Sales Md. Saidur Rahman Dipu and Head of Insurance and FI Md. Bayazid were present.
At the signing ceremony Md. Shah Jamal Hawladar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NRB Islamic Life Insurance on behalf of the company; Company Secretary, Syed Abdul Aziz, Head of Human Resources and Law Department; Chief Financial Officer and EVP Mohammad Abu Hasan were present.
As a result of this agreement between ‘Nagad’ and NRB Islamic Life Insurance, customers can now easily pay their life insurance premium policy using the ‘Nagad’ app or USSD (* 167 #). This facility will make the daily busy life of the customers easier and affordable by eliminating the additional hassle of paying the payment in person.
From now on, customers of popular mobile financial services ‘Nagad’ and NRB Islamic Life Insurance will be able to pay their premium policy through ‘Nagad’ anytime and anywhere they want.
Regarding the deal, Sheikh Aminur Rahman, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of ‘Nagad’ said, “Nagad has been operating an Islamic account for three years to make Islamic financial transactions more efficient and affordable for its customers.” In continuation of this, from now on customers can also pay premium of NRB Islamic Life Insurance through ‘Nagad’. Through this we are guaranteeing the customers an affordable and secure transaction.
