All sorts of academic activities in all the departments of Jessore University of Science and Technology (JUST) will start in class room set up from Tuesday 22nd February. The decision to start classes physically was taken at a meeting of the Deans Committee in the office room of the Vice-Chancellor on Saturday.
At the end of the meeting, a notification signed by the acting registrar of the university, Mohammad Emdadul Haque, said, only the students who have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine will be able to participate in the class physically. Students who have not yet received the two doses of vaccine have been instructed to attend the class in person by submitting the vaccination certificate to the concerned department.
Dr. Md. Mehedi Hasan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dr. Syed Md. Ghalib, on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, Dr. Shirin Nigar, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Dr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Md. Hafiz Uddin, Acting Registrar Mohammad Emdadul Haque and others were present in the meeting presided over by JUST Vice-Chancellor (additional responsibilities) Professor Dr. Md. Anisur Rahman.
