The on-demand video streaming platform Disney+ is going to expand their services to more than 50 new countries and regions. The company said the expansion would take place in the summer. News GSM Arena.
The new markets include Eastern and Central Europe, the Middle East, Africa, as well as parts of the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean.
The new countries where Disney+ will be launched are: Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, Northern Macedonia, Oman, Palestine, Poland, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, Vatican City and Yemen.
The other 11 regions are: Faroe Islands, French Polynesia, French Southern Territories, Saint Pierre and Miquelon Overseas Collective, Eland Islands, St. Martin, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, British Indian Ocean Territory, Gibraltar, Seychelles.
However, Disney+ did not say exactly when or in which subscription package the service would be expanded.
