Suppose, you have composed a message in Gmail to send to the office boss and clicked the send button, but instantly you realized that you have sent some wrong information in the mail or forgot to attach the file. Many people may fall in such a situation. However, such problems also can be overcome if you know the way.
Gmail has ‘undo’ facility. Even if you mistakenly click the send button, there is an option to cancel the mail within a maximum of 30 seconds. Here are some tips to help you get started: To enable this feature, you must first enter Gmail with a username and password.
Then go to the Settings page by clicking on the Settings icon button in the top right corner of Gmail. Then from there you have to go to ‘General’. Then scroll to ‘Undo Send’ section. From there, go to the Send Cancellation Period drop-down menu and select 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds as the time to cancel the email.
Finally, scroll down the page and press the ‘save changes’ button.
