Seminars and exhibitions on application and extension of locally invented technology have been held at Magura Collectorate School Grounds. Magura Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Yasin Kabir presided over the inaugural ceremony at 11 am on Sunday, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Dr. Md. Selim Reza delivered his speech in the program.
It was informed at the program that the exhibition was organized at the Upazila level with the aim of making people scientific minded and disseminating locally invented technology in remote areas. At the Magura District Collectorate ground, various stalls of locally invented technology were displayed in 20 stalls. The seminar and exhibition were implemented by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Magura Sadar Upazila Administration and Bangladesh Science and Industry Research Council.
Principal Scientific Officer of the Bangladesh Council of Science and Industry Dr. Sanjida Mustafi, Deputy Director of Local Government Department Afaz Uddin, Chairman of Sadar Upazila Parishad Abu Nasir Bablu, General Secretary of Magura Press Club Shamim Khan and others were also present on the occasion.
