State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said that technology is being used in Bangladesh to reduce the gap between urban and rural, men and women, poor and rich. He said this while addressing the inaugural function of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards on the night of October 28.
In the speech of the chief guest, he emphasized feeling moderation in everything and remarked that happiness, peace and success match in satisfaction by reminiscing his own life.
In just one year of its establishment, government venture capital startup Bangladesh Limited has invested Tk 14 crore in six companies, Palak said.
The market value of several of these companies has tripled.
