The government is taking initiatives to ensure digital security and is continuing various activities. Everything is being done in this connection. So, we will bring our own internet browser to ensure digital security, said NM Zeaul Alam, senior secretary of the information and communication technology department.
This information was given by the senior secretary of the information and communication technology department at the ‘Digital Literacy Curriculum Final Workshop’ organized by the ICT department on Monday.
He said that our own security can be ensured through this internet browser, adding that it is possible to reduce crime only if digital knowledge is spread among all.
Bangladesh Computer Council Executive Director Md. Abdul Mannan presided over the ceremony.
Saiful Alam Khan, project director and engineer of the project, said that Facebook and Microsoft will work together with digital literacy activities.
Officials from various government ministries were present at the Digital Literacy Curriculum Final Workshop under the project titled Establishment of Secure E-Mail and Digital Literacy Center for the Government of Bangladesh.
