Twitter has again started accepting applications for public account verification. The announcement was made by the company on Tuesday. News Engadget.
Last August, Twitter temporarily suspended public verification to improve the application and review process. Twitter said, “Thank you for being with us. If you want to apply, you can do so from the account settings.”
In recent months, Twitter has had a hard time managing Blue Badge. The company was compelled to stop the new system just eight days after the public verification was unveiled in May.
The application process has already been started and suspended more than once. Evidence has been found that even fake accounts have been verified. Twitter has worked to improve the process so that such incidents do not happen again in the future.
