Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) will conduct the preliminary examination for admission to the graduates of the academic year 2020-21 on October 20 and 21. The final test will be held on November 6.
According to the decision of the Academic Council, each examination will be held physically at the BUET campus.
BUET’s Student Welfare Adviser (DSW) Professor Mizanur Rahman said the decision was taken at a meeting of the Virtual Academic Council held on Tuesday.
Earlier, on June 22, the admission test was postponed due to the deteriorating corona Pandemic situation. It was informed at that time that a new test date would be announced once the pandemic subsided.
BUET will take admission test in two steps to select the students. First, there will be a preliminary examination in MCQ method, then, a written admission test will be held.
There will be no pass number in the preliminary examination taken in MCQ method of 100 marks. Six thousand students who got the highest marks in the examination will be selected for the main examination.
