Badrul Huda Khan. An E-learning pioneer and Bangladeshi scientist. The Association for Educational Communications and Technology (ACT), an international organization evaluating the use of technology in education, has recognized the book ‘Microlearning’ written by him as the best book of 2021 in distance education.
The book ‘Microlearning’ is based on his e-learning framework.
The book was translated into Bangla in 2016 by a2i. The translated book is titled ‘ই-লার্নিং: উন্মুক্ত শিখন পরিবেশ’ (E-Learning: Open Learning Environment).
Badrul Huda Khan highlighted the difference between the book on e-learning framework and the book on micro-learning with Digibangla.
He suggested working with objectives in the use of education technology.
The e-learning e-book can be downloaded for free if netizens want, the education scientist said.
The e-learning framework book includes e-learning key, its components and features, traditional teaching and e-learning, student-centered e-learning, online learning environment policies, course planning and management using learning materials and many other important e-learning opportunities.
Based on the e-learning framework developed by Badrul Huda Khan, various courses including PhD have been introduced in renowned universities in developed countries, he said.
He also gave separate plans in e-learning for developing countries in the Commonwealth. The NATO e-learning forum is also working on its framework.
His book ‘Web-Based Instruction’, published in 1997 on e-learning, was a bestseller in the United States. The book is being used as a textbook and reference in about 500 universities around the world. His various books on e-learning have been published in 32 languages of the world.
