It has already been known that Google will launch its own design processor to their Pixel phone. This time the technology giant announced when the phone with its own processor will be seen.
In a blog post, Google said that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones will use their own processors. And the name of this processor is ‘Tensor’. However, the Pixel 5A phone that will be unveiled before that will use Qualcomm’s processor.
The blog post says that the tensor processor has been designed based on how people use smartphones now and how they will use them in the future. Google is working to give users the best possible experience, not just the use of artificial growth and machine learning.
It is expected that Google will give more details about this before the phone comes to the market with the Tensor processor.
Chip maker Qualcomm has already lost ground in the stock market following the news of Google’s own processor. Qualcomm is currently the world’s largest manufacturer of wireless chips for smartphones. Qualcomm technology has been used in Google’s Android operating system for more than 15 years.
