The government passed the Centennial Delta Plan 2010 in 2018 to make the country a prosperous delta. In the first phase of this step-by-step master plan, the government is moving ahead to achieve ‘Vision 2040’ by developing infrastructure by 2030.
Initiatives have been taken to streamline the education system to provide employment from generation to generation. The National Museum of Science and Technology held a session on Saturday to move the people of the country towards an equal pace in a competitive world.
Mohammad Munir Chowdhury, Director General of the organization, announced to organize an education session on Delta Plan in the future to involve teenagers and young scientists in this session held on a virtual platform. “We hope that Bangladesh, like the Netherlands, will become a model state for this silty delta,” he said. For this, we will not be limited to exhibitions, but we will inculcate the delta plan in the minds of our children.
Dr. Majeedul Haque, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission, gave a detailed presentation on the originality of the 100-year- master plan in front of the officials and employees of the museum. During the discussion, he also highlighted the context of the Delta Plan 2021, the challenges of implementation and what needs to be done to address it.
