e-Cab, a national organization in the sector, has started the process of canceling the membership of 6 companies accused of being involved in capital business, including e-commerce company evaly. The other six accused are MLM companies Glitter’s RST World, Green Bangla E-Commerce, NX World Wide Ltd, Amar Bazar Ltd and Excellent World Agrofood and Consumers Ltd.
According to sources, the first notice was sent to evaly on Wednesday asking the reasons why the membership of those organizations would not be suspended as per Article 9 (d) of the organizational constitution. However, as the evaly office was closed despite its activities, the letter sent was returned so a registered letter along with an e-mail and WhatsApp was sent on Thursday.
The letter, signed by the president of e-Cab Shami Kaiser and general secretary Abdul Wahed Tamal, gave seven working days to show the causes. If the response is not satisfactory, the membership of the organizations will be canceled.
The notice was issued following complaints from Bangladesh Bank, Ministry of Commerce, Department of Consumer Protection, Consumers and Merchants, Social Media, Print Media and Television Media, said Sahab Uddin Shipon.
