This time a house will be built for NASA in the lunar orbit. The home will be built by Northrop Grumman Corporation, a US defense equipment maker. The company has signed a 935 million dollars contract with NASA in this regard.
According to the US space agency, building a ‘house’ in lunar orbit is no less challenging. Therefore, a number of well-known organizations took part in NASA’s ‘Artemis Project’, a non-governmental organization that aims to take space travel further. But this time Northrop Grumman has won the task.
It is said that the astronauts will rest in these houses on the way to the moon, along with the necessary study or research work that can be done from here.
But it is yet to know that when the work will start.
Earlier, however, China announced that they would build a home on the moon’s south pole. According to the announcement, their work is expected to start by 2030. In the meantime, NASA’s announcement of making the house in the lunar orbit came.
