Virtual courts have been formed and functioning so that the disposal of cases is not stopped even in the ongoing pandemic.
Anisul Haque, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs notified the updates while spoke in the 13th session of the Eleventh National Assembly on Wednesday.
Law Minister Anisul Haque said 137,330 cases have been disposed of through virtual courts. This was possible because of the existence of a virtual court.
Parliament has approved a budget of Tk 6 lakh 3 thousand 681 crores for the new financial year.
The budget for the next financial year was passed by voice vote in a session of Parliament chaired by Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury on Wednesday.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology, in the Parliamentary session, proposed a grant of Tk. 1Thousand 720 crores 68 lakh, which was passed by voice vote.
