A team of Turkish scientists has invented the technology of corona detection in just 10 seconds. This technology has presented a corona detector called Diagnovir.
Researchers at the National Nanotechnology Research Center (UNAM) at Bilcant University, the inventor of the device, say the nanotechnology-based technology is capable of delivering 99 percent accurate results. Turkish authorities have already approved its use. Entrepreneurs have started mass production of the device with government approval.
In an interview with the Anadolu Agency, the university’s rector, Professor Abdullah Atala, said they focused on building such a device after the first corona was detected in Turkey. This test method, controlled by a biosensor, will take samples from the mouth instead of the nostrils.
According to the Turkish daily Sabah, the newly invented device called Diagnovir is completely different from the conventional PCR test. Testing using it will detect the corona of the infected person in just 10 seconds. Those who do not have coronavirus in their body will need some extra time to get results.
