Connected online from Dhaka to his constituency Natore, State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the sample test of Covid-19 through the ‘Gene Expert Machine’ at Singra Upazila Health Complex of Natore district on Tuesday, May 4th.
Singra Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Aminul Islam presided over the online session while Natore Deputy Commissioner Shah Md. Riaz, Natore District Civil Surgeon Dr. Kazi Mizanur Rahman, Natore District Superintendent of Police Liton Kumar Saha spoke on the occasion.
Speaking as the chief guest, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak cited that “prevention is better than cure”, so, for keeping oneself protected from coronavirus he emphasized personal awareness. He reiterated that while going out in case of emergency, there is no alternative to wearing a mask regularly, maintaining social distance, washing hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and taking the vaccine. He said that by moving consciously, it is possible to protect oneself and the individual, society and family from being attacked by corona and at the same time bring the situation under control.
The State Minister declared that Singra Upazila Health Complex would be upgraded from 50-bed to a 100-bed hospital. He expected that all concerned should work with sincerity in providing health services in a proper manner. He also assured that the problems of the hospital will be identified and solved.
