In an effort to enhance security, Gmail is set to introduce a “blue tick” feature, similar to social media platforms. This new feature will allow users to identify verified brands and names through a blue checkmark.
Reports indicate that the blue tick feature will be available not only on the web app but also on Android and iOS platforms. Google claims that this feature will further strengthen Gmail’s security.
Additionally, users will now see the authentic company logo next to the sender’s name in their inbox, which will help protect against phishing scams and fraudulent emails.
